Q: What's the best way to contact you/where’s the freaking phone number??

A: Drop us a line at info@daytripcounter.com and we'll get back to you with a response as soon as we can. Our small team is currently elbow-deep in food prep and taking care our in-house guests. We don’t have a dedicated phone-answering team (we'd rather put those resources toward making your visit awesome), so your best bet is always email.

Q: My food is late — I ordered it forever ago! What’s going on?

A: We will always reach out directly and promptly if the problem is on our side. That said, we work with DoorDash for third-party delivery services. We recommend using their support feature in the DoorDash app, or their help page.

Q: Do you take reservations?

A: No, we don’t take reservations - all seating is first-come-first serve. Our counter service setup means tables free up pretty quickly, so the wait is rarely off step from the line.

Q: Do you deliver?

A: Yes, hit us up on DoorDash to bring Daytrip Counter to your doorstep across much of the East Bay starting May 14th.

Q: Can I order food for pick up?

A: Yes. FYI Soft Serve is only available to order from the counter, so if you pop in you should probably get one.

Q: I’m pregnant, anything I should know?

A: All of our cheeses are pasteurized.

Q: I’m vegetarian/pescatarian, what can I eat?

A: We hope to provide bountiful dining options to a large spectrum of diners. All of our salads/bowls are - at the very least - pescatarian — as the Basil Caesar and the Crispy Spicy contain fish sauce. If you’re interested we do make a vegetarian batch of caesar every day as well! The remaining two salads/bowls on our menu (Cilantro Lime Crunch and Club Med) are fully vegetarian (if ordered without chicken).

As for sides, the Pesto Beans contain chicken broth, however, we have the capacity to make them vegetarian if you ask. All other sides are naturally vegetarian.

Q: I’m vegan, what can I eat?

A: Our Cilantro Lime Crunch Bowl/Salad is our only vegan salad/bowl (if you remove the cheese). Fries should be ordered without cheese to arrive vegan. Our Tomatillo Vinaigrette and Pesto are both vegan.

Q: Do you have ketchup?

A: Yes, yawn, lol. But we’re going to make you ask for it.
